The treatment of many diseases depends on the use of drugs. Interactions between food and medicine (the simultaneous use of medicine and food) may change the effects of many medicines and reduce the effectiveness of the medicine or cause drug poisoning. Avoid consuming the following foods between 1 and 2 hours before and after the mentioned medicines.

Warfarin:

Food sources containing iron: such as red meat, egg yolk and dark green leafy vegetables
Food sources containing vitamin K: such as green tea, ginger, garlic, dark green leafy vegetables, cucumber with skin, soybeans, nettle, liver, grapefruit, mango, onion, cabbage, cauliflower, spinach, fish, vegetable oils. and sunflower and cottonseed

Lovastatin and atorvastatin:

Methylprednisolone:

This class of drugs causes the excretion of potassium and calcium from the body, so you should consume sources of potassium and calcium such as fruits and vegetables, bananas, kiwi, plums, tomatoes, potatoes, broccoli, red meat, poultry, fish, nuts such as pistachios. And almonds, milk, dairy products and grapefruit should be consumed more.
In addition, the mentioned drug causes blood sugar to increase, so the use of sugars (sugar, sugar, candies, flakes, sweets) should be reduced.
Reducing the intake of salt and high-fat diets is also recommended.
